The Evidenz Foundation is fundamentally interested in new initiatives in the field of education and adult education connecting various areas of life. We also support existing initiatives during transition periods while they venture into a new stage of development. On the one hand, individual and unconventional approaches are important to us, on the other hand, we emphasize the idea that initiatives seeking help cooperate with other initiatives when it seems appropriate.

In 2012, we supported about 50 initiatives from almost 20 countries with a total of CHF 600,000.

In recent years, the Evidenz Foundation supported among others:

Nyendo, a workshop at the Waldorf School in Prien at the Chiemsee lake, Germany, during which students set up a trading company for African goods together with partners in Kenya and thereby develop entrepreneurial skills.

The establishment of a special education initiative for school drop outs, in Ueberlingen, Lake Constance.

The Institut for Social Banking, an educational initiative pondering the question: How can we create a new banking system?

YIP, Youth International Program, a one-year training program in Järna, Stockholm, during which young people through seminars and internships explore new impulses for their lives and possibilities to contribute to changing the world.

The foundation of a health care centre and birth house in a slum of Sao Paulo.

The Biodynamic Ambassadors program of the Section for Agriculture at the Goetheanum, through which internship opportunities abroad are offered to farmers who have completed their training.

The International Postgraduate Medical Training of the Medical Section at the Goetheanum, a training program for aspiring doctors.

Basic research and international coordination of the Pedagogical Section at the Goetheanum.

The initiative Berufswege (career paths), which researched the question of a contemporary, future understanding of the term "profession" with a film and a conference and works on the topic of career choice by means of unconventional thinking.

Captura, an initiative of young educators approaching the question of what constitutes an ideal type of school that caters to the needs of our time; in search of a "school for tomorrow".
